I think there is a difference between being hyped and being interested, but thats maybe taking place on TS. I join when i can although often i find im playing for half an hour or so and because of that dont bother. Also when i check it out before i play there dont seem to be that many, if any, on TS (in the BF4 slot, of course). Might just be the times i manage to play, which are limited.

Two points. Although i didnt buy Hardline and hated with a passion Battlefront both of those games seemed to launch with none of the issues that faced BF3 and BF4. So maybe frostbite is settling down. And the other point was that i think that BF4 was faced with the opposite of hype, or maybe negative hype, which caused people to flee when actually the game was a lot of fun (most of the time). But it becomes a negative spiral, which is hard to stop. Sure it definitely wasnt by any means perfect but i have loved playing it and there is a lot of richness in it.

So not jumping on the hype train, or preordering, but im definitely interested in what we find out about BF1 over the coming weeks and months.

If its light weight, like Battlefront, ill definitly skip it. But if its got normal battlefield meat to it then im definitely intrigued by the WW1 setting. Not turned on by the fact that there will be more melee stuff though - if i wanted to fight hand to hand i would find a game that specialised in that. And horses leave me cold. But hey time will tell.

Anyway, just want to say it again - i LOVED playing as a team in BF3 and the early days of BF4. OG felt like a real home back then, and i would hate to miss out on that with BF1, if the game turns out to be good.

All the very best, guys, and see you on the battlefield
