Yeah, I have heard of a few Elite clones. I wonder which of them will turn out the best.
In regards to mix of strategy and action, I think that the Gran Turismo 2, (I think it was 2) on the original play station is unsurpassed. Made you push and grind so you can advance strategically, it was really something. I don't usually like driving sims but that one I loved.
As for pure strategy, there are the good ones, but I really like the old ancient Master of orion 2.
Dunno - something about the randomness of stuff each time is getting to me, I guess.
