Sorry if this is a duplicate post but I couldn't find the old one (if it exists). Can you not filter tiny words like crap. In my opinion, if you can say a certain words in schools, they should be allowed. Just a suggestion.
Language filter is there not just to filter bad words but to enforce good behavior. Crap is not so offensive if stands alone but if you add little bit more "You louse crap" it start to be offense.
You just can't imagine how offensive people can be if there is nothing to control them.
We know that there are "innocent" victims of plugin.

The fact is, even though some words are acceptable in real life to be used, people overuse them on the internet.
Also, the chat isn't there to trashtalk (at least not on our servers), so either talk like an adult or don't talk at all
