The smell of death wafts listlessly on the breeze, ushering in details of a Closed Beta character wipe.
The end of January/beginning of February will mark a significant step forward in the Battlefield Play4Free Closed Beta phase as we add new content to the game Smile. Accordingly we will be carrying out a full wipe. Everything related to your Beta account, other than forum posts and access to the Beta section of the site and game, will be removed. Therefore when you log back into the site after the wipe, the name of the first soldier you create will also be your display name on the site and forum. Choose wisely Wink.
We intend this to be the one and only wipe that we carry out as it will be possible to spend Battlefunds in Battlefield Play4Free shortly thereafter.
