It almost kills me to have to announce it, but because of the decline in interest in P4F, both amongst members as well as amongst the P4F players worldwide, we are going to have to close down P4F servers.
The costs for all of them are obviously not being covered anymore.
OG will keep OG2 as community server.
OG8 will be up as long as Hersh keeps up paying for it.
Reason to keep OG2 is because it is a Branzone server that allows the Punkbuster screenshots to be sent to the PBSS viewer website.
The map is now still set for Mashtuur, but I will leave the map choice open for those members that still play regularly.
Those members can put a post in this thread to let me know what map they would like to play.
An era is coming to a slow end.
The game will be there for a bit longer, i'm sure, but the times that were will not come back unfortunately.
.. Sad to see them go away.... But still the Oman server is always full, and if OG8 keeps running, thats enough for me.. Maybe a rotation on OG2 Masthuur and something else..??..
