The World of Tanks community has once again proved that united force can triumph over everything! Thanks to our players, we are the honoured victors in the battle for the most prestigious award in the video games industry – the Golden Joystick! This year, our players have earned us the coveted Golden Joystick Award for ‘Best Online Game of 2013’.
From a group of very strong competitors, our game finished as the winner. We hope that this shows that we are developing the game in the right way. We won't stop developing it, and we will regularly update you about our future plans and the direction of current development.
Over the last month, we've received mixed feedback on our nomination from the community. However, the majority love and support the project. This victory belongs to each one of you. We want to thank all World of Tanks fans for their active support and we wish to celebrate the victory with a gift for all players.
As a sign of our gratitude, we will be giving out a special vehicle – the T7 Combat Car. This is a Tier II American light tank and is exclusively for this event. The tank, along with a garage slot to keep it in, will be distributed to all game accounts with the release of Version 8.9. All you need to do is download the update and log into the game to find the tank in your garage. Only players who have registered prior to the 8.9 update release will receive the tank.
