Mode 1: Driving only Show your skills on gas pedal and steering wheel. Know the pressure of your dampers, feel the road adherence while guiding your buggy along straight holey highways and bumpy deserts at physical limits as fast as you can. Use your brake! - your ride is not indestructible! Compete with up to 7 opponents on difficult courses.

Mode 2: Crash derby Same Maps, same courses - "god mode" settings. 500% soldierhealth but 50% (or 25%) bulletdamage will make each player immortal! - But NOT his car. Up to 4 Teams a 3 players in one buggy try to master the track 1st and alive - including the buggy. Healing, reparing, firing, shouting, knife-throwing - everything alowed. Even RPG is allowed since one hit leaves your buggy on 50% health and the cars can be repaired while driving from within. Your are not allowed to shoot while not in a car!

Mode 3: Water Rage 6 boats with 4 soldiers race around islands and under bridges while shooting their opponents and repairing their rides while fighting wind, waves and whales One boat can easily stand a rpg hit and be repaired by 2 passangers at the same time. The mounted HeavyMG is the more dangerous weapon! Start will we little US base Island.

We have decided to change host for a couple of Battlefield 3 servers. The lack of customer service from our current hoster, made us look for another one, which gave us similar performance.

We have been contacted by Clanhost regarding our servers, and they were able to make us a very good offer. In the past few weeks, we ran some tests regarding the ping, which shows that for 98% of the members, the ping dropped by an average of 10 points. We believe in the quality they offer and decided to move all Dutch server, except for server number 5, Karkand Only.

We will assess the performance of the servers the coming weeks, and decide if we move the last server aswell.

We will create a copy of the existing servers, which run til 17 April 2012, and inform the regular players on it that the servers is switching ID.

With Close Quarters, we really wanted to take Battlefield 3 in a new direction, to offer players another style of gameplay while still retaining what is uniquely Battlefield. What journalists on site could play was a relentless infantry combat map called “Ziba Tower” (internally known simply as “Skybar”).

The clue for the theme in Close Quarters is in the title: The battlefield moves indoors, and we’re bringing HD Destruction! While the squad functionality and gunplay will feel instantly recognizable for any Battlefield player, moving the battle to tight maps means it’s instant action and even more frantic than normal.

The tight level design and vertical gameplay means death can come from any angle, and the HD Destruction adds a new layer of mayhem to the game. This June expansion pack has the same scope and ambition as Back to Karkand. This means that besides new maps, the expansion pack also offers 10 new weapons that you can bring back to the base game, 10 new Assignments, 5 unique dog tags, new audio, new ways to play, and more.
