Battlefield Heroes and Battlefield Play4Free being shut down by EA

Hereby the post from the website from BFH and BF P4F:

Dear Heroes, (Also for BF Play4Free)

The war is over! You have fought long and hard but the time for peace awaits us. The Nationals and Royals have finally been able to put the past behind and call a truce. With peace comes an end to a great story, and thus it is with a heavy heart that we must inform you, that on Tuesday July 14th 2015 we will be closing Battlefield Heroes for good and stopping the service in its entirety.
This is not an easy choice, but we believe the time is right to retire this veteran game. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the years. Itís been a pleasure for us to have entertained you for this long, and we hope you had as much fun playing Battlefield Heroes as we had creating it.
Those of you who still have a balance of in-game currency are encouraged to spend it before the game is no longer available on Tuesday July 14th 2015. Additionally, from now until the closing date we will also be disabling the functionality to purchase Play4Free Funds, as well as the ability to register new accounts.
Thank you for playing Battlefield Heroes!

    So, here it is (finally).
After having the license laying around for over a year, the theme finished for over a year we finally moved the website from the ancient PHP-Nuke Evolution Extreme (That's a mouth full) (that's what she said), to vBulletin. For the geeks: We have decided to move to version 4.2.2 instead of 5.x, because the lack of the availability of mods for version 5.x.
We were able to move the entire database, which is pretty cool.

    So what's new?
    - A stable (hopefully mostly) bugfree website
    - A faster website
    - A better looking website
    - Mobile integration (download tapatalk app)
    - Responsive webdesign
    - Teamspeak group integration (see FAQ
    - Other neat features like a membermap, better photo albums

There is still a lot of work to be done, forum ranks etc. have to be set but hopefully we can finish this the next days.
