Who is in here and or is absolutly not intrested?? I jost got in there yesterday with macmaddy and both felt that the shooting/hitting is totally different compared to the Original game.

Improve Battlefield 4 with Us
The Community Test Environment (CTE) will provide passionate fans the chance to evolve Battlefield 4 with us and become a part of the development process. We’ll be able to test new ideas and solutions to current issues before we roll them out to all Battlefield players.

Among the first things we will work on is the “Netcode,” which is what the player experiences with the game world including player-to-player interactions like damage registration. This involves tweaking to the “tickrate” servers and networking in general.

By launching this new program, not only will we be able to address player feedback at an early stage, but also increase the overall quality of the game. We are excited to explore the possibilities together with you.

How to Access the CTE
This community program will be available on PC only. However, the goal is for our learnings to benefit all platforms when possible. To access the CTE, you will need to be a Battlefield 4 Premium member. Players will have to download a separate game client, then connect to an infrastructure and Battlelog version solely set up for testing purposes.
•Visit http://cte.battlelog.com/bf4/communitytest/
•Read and accept the Terms of Service and Agreement
•Log into Origin with your existing account username and password (your account must have Premium activated in order to proceed)
•Start Origin and download the new Battlefield 4 CTE game client that now should be visible
•Install the Battlelog browser plugin
•Get familiar with the guidelines by visiting the Forums on http://cte.battlelog.com/bf4/forum/

Initially, only Battlefield 4 Premium members will be able to opt-in, and there will be a limit to how many can join. We do have plans to expand to a larger player base in the future after we test this new program. If you feel that you want to provide constructive feedback to make Battlefield 4 an even better game – then you’re more than welcome to apply to the CTE.

And just to be clear stats that you get in cte program will not transfer into regular game.
Regular game will stay on your pc and you can play both.

They do open it up from time to time. I missed the first round but got in on the second.

So far, it seems like I die more often (Alien kindly suggested that there are a lot of good players on there, not that I'm crap!)
I've also seen more chance to react to damage...e.g. start taking hits and been able to get behind cover without dying, which is a great improvement (if I'm not imagining that of course).

They should have started this in BF3 .. wich still has bugs and flaws also ...

Greetings ...... a former ..... "passionate fan"

But maybe, this is a chance to get the OLD GUYS BF group back together by only playing this version of the game.

I also think that I am dying more in it - only played a couple of sessions but it felt like i was completely crap! Of course because you start at the begining of the weapon unlocks anyone who has played more has a significant advantage (especially seeing as you unlock at 300%). Worth supporting if it improves the game though...

I have noticed a slight difference in the game-play.
An improved hit detection and slightly improved hit behind cover or round corner hits. I still think that the player with the better ping has a slight edge, apparently they are looking at a ping smoothing/bandwidth throttle. I don't know how this will work but I suppose it shows they are trying. If they get these issues into the main game I would hope it will make it a better game.

PATCH DAY Today we will patch both server and client on the CTE for the second time! This will mean some server downtime. You will also have to update your CTE client in Origin to join servers once they are up again. Â*PATCH CONTENTS This patch includes:
•Hi-Frequency Network Update client option You now have the option to turn off or lower the amount of “tickrate” your internet connection can handle – everyone with constant packetloss (due to low bandwidth) on the current CTE should try the options and make sure it works properly. The current default is “HIGH” so everyone else can just ignore this one :).
•Dampened explosive camera shake (give us feedback on everything from grenades to levolution shakes)
•Possible fix for PC chat delay
•New maps: Operation Metro 2014, Wave Breaker (enabled later)
•Hainan Resort: Under-terrain exploit fix
•Some other tweaks too small to mention

WHAT ARE WE TESTING? We need to make sure the “tickrate” is still working and engagements keep on being improved (as reported by the majority). Also we need to make sure the option works – turning it off or on a different setting actually helps players with low bandwidths.

PATCH DAY
Today we will patch both server and client on the CTE for the third time! This will mean some server downtime. You will also have to update your CTE client in Origin to join servers once they are up again.

PATCH CONTENTS
This patch includes:
•Changed the FrameHistoryTime from 1.5s to 1.0s
This value is used in determining how much “slack” the server allows a client with packetloss to have. With this number lowered a bit to match the 30hz server send frequency – we should see even less deaths behind cover.
•Deathshield fix
The Deathshield fix was not part of the CTE environment yet – now it is.
•Obliteration Competitive mode
Added support for the Obliteration small competitive mode (servers coming)
•Operation Metro 2014 exploit fix
•PC-Client stability improvement
•High Altitude Jet fix
A fix for the much reported jet altitude bug is in this patch (server side fix) as well.

WHAT ARE WE TESTING?
Making sure the new FrameHistoryTime value works as indended and doesn’t affect the game in a negative way and improves the engagements even further. We also need to confirm that the Deathshield problem is gone (ragdolls stop grenades and other projectiles from reaching their target).
