If I had to buy a 120./144 mhz gaming monitor now i'd definatly go for the BenQ XL2420T or the Asus VQ248QE
Asus (http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/322233/asus-vg248qe-zwart.html) vs BenQ (http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/296222/benq-xl2420t-zwart.html)

Asus one is a bit cheaper, doesn't have black-equalizer , Benq does have it, aside from that, they are pretty much identical.
I myself would get the BenQ for the stand and movement options, and the ability to use smaller resolutions without stretching them to the screensize (only useful in counter-strike really).
Movement can easily be done with a monitor mount.

Anyway, your choice really. Here are some videos of linus covering both, I think he favor the "Revision 2" BenQ for the colors:

A bit OT, but if you want a 'hook' to hang your headset on get yourself some www.sugru.com and 'make' your own hook!
I've done it on all our computers, easy to make a custom 'hook' and stick it to the back of your monitor (or wherever you like).
