Sawp guise,
I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card so that I can run bf4 smoothly (maybe ultra ~80 FPS :P

Since I know a lot of you are quite good with PC hardware, maybe you guys could recommend me something? :)

I'm looking to spend under 300 euros

Here are my current specs:

- 550W PSU
- 3.2 GHz quad core intel processor (don't know the exact model, but I've been told that it's a good one)
- Win 8
- 4 GB RAM
- GTX 560ti

Planning to purchase:
- 120GB ÂÂ*SSD
- an additional 4GB of RAM

Thanks in advance :D

I don't know if you can achieve 80fps on ultra with a 300 euro budget.

I'd go for a R 280X or a ÂÂ*4gb GTX 770.

I don't know if you can find a 4 gb version for 300 euro or less. So I guess the R9 280X is favored. Some games push 2gb+ and i think bf4 is one of them.

Get one of the Asus or MSI's models, they have excellent cooling.
Especially the Direct CU II coolers by Asus. And that would be the TwinFrozr for MSI.
Picking up a 7970 Ghz would be a good option too, they are about as fast as a 280X and you can find them for around 250 euros.

Thanks for the quick and elaborate response broski!

So I looked up the R9 280X online, it requires a PCI express 3.0 slot, my mother board only has 2.0... I'm guessing it's to upgrade my motherboard as well? D:

No problem, and:
No, PCI Express is backwards compatible. PCI3.0 is just faster than 2.0. But that card won't reach speeds that surpass 2.0's capability anyway :) So that would work perfectly fine on a 2.0 or 2.1 motherboard.

I'm running on ultra with stable 50fps with a now 120euro card (1080p, AA off), so should be do-able with your budget....
