I have a Roccat Kave. Pretty good headset. Its analog, so no USB.

Get a Sennheiser HD558 or something and buy a seperate mic.

I use HD 555's now and the soundquality is INFINITELY Â*better than any gaming headset. You pay atleast double for gaming headsets with the same sound quality.

the 5.1 / 7.1 is just a sales gimmick, it's virtual surround. Get a decent soundcard and you could create those 5.1 effects with any headset you plug into it.

I use the motherboard soundcard with a Sennheiser HD555 and a Zalman clip mic. Works like a charm, the sennheisers aren't mine, I borrowed them from a friend, but I will surely never go back to gaming headset sound quality.

I must add though, it isn't cheap ^^ around 140 euro for the headset and 10 for the clipmic.
But, even if you get a 80 euro ish Sennheiser headphone it's still better than the gaming headsets in that pricerange.
Something like HD515's are more affordable.

But judging by your rig, you are going all out :)
Can't underestimate the impact of a good monitor and good sound.
3/10 people I kill are probably because I hear them coming.

EDIT: To answer above, get analog, they work with soundcards, USB doesn't. So if you ever want to get a soundcard, a USB headset is useless to you. (All the recommendations i did are audiojacks anyway so.)

I got a Sennheiser as well, I bought it like 8 years ago and it's one of my best investments ever, it still works and looks amazing.

Here you can find the most popular one's at the moment with some nice reviews:
