After i ript out a pci slot removing secondary VGA-Card, i bought me a new board (Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3) and some other stuff, the old board is still working, but i need the secondary pci slot to create the SLI. Working with SSD in raid-0 didn't work out after a crash installing the soundcard to my "old"board, so i run them in normal mode ... it's fast enough. Next week i have the core i7 3770k cpu running.

I atached a steelseries clipon mic. to the Byerdynamic headphone and disabled onboard souncard to let it work with the Asus DGX card ..... ÂÂ*SUPERSOUND and positioning 100 % better.

Have you set the amp of the soundcard to the impedance of the headphone?
