poof, €650!
Hey big spender!

It'll drop though, but still it's above my price range. As are all cards since I don't need another one ÂÂ*:)

-

I'm happy with my 6950, I easily get 80fps with all settings ultra and not too much AF and MSAA. With MSAA 4X and AF16X and some settings high, some settings ultra, and HBAO, I get 45 fps on average.

Well price @ launch will be arround €300 to €400.

Pre-order prices have been like this high and completly wrong for many times with these stores.

Most funny one with the launch of the FX they were so out of line that one of the stores ended up in court. ÂÂ*

+1 I sold my computer once withouth picture 0 response 0 bids for like 4 weeks.
But when I added 3 pictures of it on my desk! It had in 1 week more then 45 responses and 6 bids! ;P
(was sold as well in that week! ;D )

Adding your picture on the state it is now gives a more trustful look I guess ... ;P

Agree on that, no pictures in your advertisement is a killer.
Just make a few good pictures from outside and indsie so you can see the system will absolutly help the sale.

Yes but i would not buy that one!!!

Stock cooler 7970

XFX cooler
http://www.abload.de/img/27t642.png

The PWN on that card is way to hot.
Better buy the Accelero cooler with a stock 7970 if you wanna better air cooler that is supposed to be 30 degrees cooler than stock.

Strange, where did you find this? Tweakers gives the XFX a 5/5. This one on the pic might just be broken. I don't believe the stock cooler performs better than the XFX vapor chamber thing.

Caveman

Tweakers did not checked the temps by heatcamera but by simpely using software.
This is with both fans on full speed tested with i believe 5 cards. And xfx had just a little more than a week to design produce and ship this thing so i am pretty sure they will change their design.

Just a case of i wanna be the first with alternative cooling but not well played.

Caveman

Here you can see very clearly that the cooler only touches the GPU and where the backplate is open for airflow the heatsink is not open. So the whole back of the card is not cooled. Including the VRM's wich is kinda a big failure!! 8O Â*8O

Yeah I read the topic at tweakers now, quite unacceptable, these 100+ degrees temps. I don't want my card to be boiling hot like that ... :)
