I'm playing at 1280x720, unfortunatly.
The chat window doesn't scale with the lower resolution. Which means it's annoyingly big.
Anyone know if there is a command to remove chat? Or limit how long the chat lasts after someone writes.
In Black Ops, I limited the time to 0.. Which meant the chat was completely gone. It would be nice to have the same in BF3.

I'm not able to record at 1920x1080 with a good enough FPS, even on the lowest settings. It keeps jumping between 35-50ish FPS.

I think it's my harddriver that can't write fast enough. I only have the one HDD, it's a: Western Digital CaviarĀ® Blackā„¢ 640GB, Sata 3 Gb/s, 32MB Cache, 7200RPM.
Specifications:
Harddriver Transferspeed: 300 MB/s (extern)
Internal Datafrequency: 113 MB/s

I would guess that the internal datafrequency is what matters for me. I'm not good around HDDs. It's not something I've focused to learn anything about.

When recording at 1080p with 60 fps the file sizes is about 50MB/s. Almost half of my HDDs write speed needs to go to that. Together with handling the game I'm recording, Windows and everything else.. I think the HDD causes a bottleneck.
When I record at 720p with 60 fps, the file sizes is about 35 MB/s.

I could be wrong. It might be the GPU. I tried MSI Afterburner, to monitor my GPU usage. It sais it's at 100%. I don't know if that's normal or not. The CPU is running at 75% and RAM at 50% when recording.

I'm so jealous.. you can play so fluently even while using Fraps (I assume) , I can't get the mofo to run without lag if my life depended on it..

nice vid though, pressed thumbs up :)
