Treyarch has released their official box art for their upcoming release, Call of Duty: Black Ops and only one thing really stands out: a pistol named Sally. Sure, Sally is a not a name you would associate with a war game that has already surpassed the presale numbers of Modern Warfare 2, but she seems to have tallied up eight kills, which probably leads to a pretty nasty Killstreak reward. Maybe instead of a pack of dogs, like in Call of Duty: World at War, it’s a group of crocodiles. Or a killer swarm of mosquitos. Oh, the options!
Whatever the story is behind the box cover, it certainly fits the bill. It’s dark, masculine and full of weaponry. It’s sending a pretty obvious message that Treyarch is pulling out all the big guns for the followup to the biggest game of all time. Gamers can only hope it delivers one heck of a ride.
